Alumacraft Open C capacity

What is the weight capacity for my '56 Open C? I am planning on decking it, putting in batteries and trolling motors, fat guys, coolers, huge tackle bag and a bunch of other stuff that we all know we could never catch any fish without, and I don't want to overload the boat.

Your boat should have a capacity/load tag on it somewhere.

According to https://www.fiberglassics.com/wiki/images/b/be/Alumacraftbb001.jpg it's rated for 4 people. I would assume that's calculated at 150lbs per person, so 600lbs is probably the rated limit.

I have checked for a tag but have not found one. I would assume that sometime in the last 50 odd years it has been removed.
