List what you would use and why, and a link to the best price you found. Im in a debate on what i am going to use, I am currently leaning towards the styx river neo mats, 3x5 is 50.00 and the pattern is gonna be hard to line up. I been looking at vinyl but it isnt gonna fold easy, and its 16.00 a running foot best i found. Plus glue. Paint on stuff seems like its gonna be 300.00 to do my 18' boat. Carpet isnt in the equation at all.

I plan on using Grizzly grip. I got the idea from fool4fish, you can check out his "a little snookered' build thread to see results. I think he mentioned using only 5 qts. to do his whole boat. 5 qts will run about $107 plus shipping.

you want to be sure to use the Aliphatic coating because it is 100% UV resistant.

Hope that helps

Hydroturf would be my choice. it's pretty tough, doesn't abosorb water, and it's no-slip when wet. The downside would be the price to do a whole 18ft boat. https://hydroturf.com

I originally used a roll on bedliner (durabak uv resistant formula) over plywood and it was ok.. but after about a year of being outside in the elements it faded and was wearing off. I decided to get rid of all the wood in my boat and replaced it with aluminum + hydroturf. Three years later I'm still very pleased with that decision.
