hey, new member here.. been lurking a while following other peoples' modding progress, good stuff.

has anyone here had a Lowe 1448M or MT before? jon boats are in such high demand up here that im thinking about picking up a new one this weekend to play with. (the M is for mod v hull, the T for 20" transom).. wondering if anyone has modded one or have an opinion on it..

well, that and saying "hi"

Welcome Aboard! The L1448M (or MT version) are nice rigs. Did you know you can order as an option an aluminum floor for the boat (dealer installed).

A buddy of mine has the R1542V Roughneck which is a nice size for two people to fish from.

Here's a pic of a 1652VT Roughneck with the standard flat floor.

Good point, lol, but I looked at the time and labor it saved me so that I could jump right in and do the carpeting in 3-4 days
