Has anyone attempted to make any on their own? Normally made out of plastic type materials, I was thinking about aluminum I have laying around. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'd guess you must be back-trolling and need them for that purpose? Never back-trolled on my own in my life, but I did experience it once on a trip with some walleye guys. Not my cup of tea.

Assuming your scrap aluminum is thick enough to handle the pressure, I don't see any reason why you couldn't just copy this Iowa guy's methodology. Seemed straight forward and simple enough.

Good luck, and keep us posted. I hope some guys who've done it post up here as well.

regards, Rich
