so almost everyone puts fishing rod holders in after doing their boats up, but i can't find any examples of people making boxes to keep shotguns dry and secure? who uses their tins for waterfowling?

I do, but I prefer not having the box. I like having as much open space as possible, but we bring a lot of decoys.
I dont see a reason for a box if the gun is in a good case, and we have to have them cased in boats and vehicles.here anyways.

I have 2 straps hanging on the side of my boat to keep the cased guns off the floor.
