So a few weeks ago I came dangerously close to buying a late 90's Carolina Skiff and one of my buddies who is on this website talked me into checking out this site and considering a Jon Boat....well here she is! She's a 1952 Lonestar with an 85' DT 15 Suzuki.

:WELCOME: to Tinboats Cole. What are your plans for your new boat? Probably a good thing you didn't buy the cskiff. They are notorious for the hull filling with water and they are near impossible to drain.
 
Well as of now I don't really have to many things in mind other than a front deck. I'm gonna sit back and see what people have been doing to their tins on here then I will decide what I'd like to do with her. It will be primarily a saltwater boat ranging from grass flats to offshore along the coast on calm days.
