Well since i'm done with the boat, i'm bored. I'm considering selling this one make a couple bucks in profit and buy another one that's a little longer and a little deeper and do it all over again. I seem to find my self more interested in tinkering with my boat than i do actually getting it out on the water, BUT since the the kid's are starting to show more interest in fishing/water i'm looking at getting either a 14-16ft flat or semi V but i want an older one nothing new i hate new boat's they dont make them like they use to, i'm looking at 50's-70's that needs work.

And i prefer alumacraft over most but if any one has any idea's opinion's or option's for me i'd be very interested to see what you guy's come up with.

I have that itch too! I've been watching CL and waited too long on an 18 foot Gregor! I never knew they made them in that length.

Today I saw a fiberglass (sorry) center console that looked really clean for $7000. Oh the temptation!

Well, now...who wudda seen this coming?

James, if you can do this:

Then, maybe you should try your hand at something like this:

(LoneStar Holiday)

building your already considerable skills for this:

The hard part would finding one, but boy, oh, boy...how cool would THAT be?

Best wishes. I look forward to your next excellent adventure.

=D>

This may be just me, but I notice a huge difference in size between a 14 and 16 foot boat. That extra two feet makes a world of difference once you put a third (or more) person in the boat.

Just something to consider since you are talking great numbers.

if i could fit a larger than 14' boat in my garage,i'd sell mine and do another one :LOL2: .since i cant it will have to do.i got offered $8500 for it a few weeks ago.im in to it for about 6k.

OK, James... I am waaay too good to you, but here, take my dream:

=P~ ........ my god!

Trego, according to my WI map, is right around the intersection of Hwy 70 and Hwy 53, near Spooner.

By the way, this is the only one I've ever seen on Craig's list, so...must be your destiny, James.

Money in this would earn you more return than any bank or stock investment in today's market.

There was someone on Craigslist over on this side of the state that was selling an old 19' Lonestar that looked a LOT like the alumicraft cruiser. They wanted a little more than $500 for it, though. ;)

OK, James...two things...(er, maybe three things):

First, and most important, life lesson I learned:

"If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."

Second: Found this image under "Alumacraft Queen" image search. Gotta be the same boat, but better picture.

Three: I am inordinately proud of my enabling in this instance. :)

Bottom line, it is just another boat.
