I just picked up a Tracker Topper 1436. I want to put some rod holders on it. Im a little nervouse about drilling into the aluminum. I hear a pilot hole is a must. You guys have anymore tips? I hear Driftmaster rod holders are a good way to go. i already have a Scotty i want to use. ives seen these mounted to the front and backs to the bench seats. I may try that. By the way... Awesome site! Keep it up guys05312012 009.jpg

Just make sure not to over torque them. Have the clutch set on your drill so it snuggs them up, because if you over tighten them they will pull the "threads" and just spin and be completly useless.
