No need that is why tins boats are awesome

What I meant was two help protect from leaky rivets. But that is what tins are great for! :mrgreen:

I think you will find quite a few fans of a product called Steelflex on this site. I used it on my tin and no more leaks (and it looks a million times better). Just search around the site for posts regarding Steelflex and I think you will like what you see. Great product - even better customer service. Cheers!

Ok. I know about steelflex. But I was wondering for something to prevent leaks. But it doesent look like there anything.

I wouldn't do anything to a brand new hull. If properly cared for, it should be leak free for decades.
And if/when you do need to replace a rivet or fix something on the hull, it will be a lot easier if there aren't layers of some sort of paint/treatment/sealant to deal with.
If you will be running shallow rivers, then its a whole different ball game.
