Mounting seats in Jon boat?

I would like to mount some swivel seats to my 16' jon boat but am not sure what type to get and what would work best. I want to mount them to the bench seats. Is it possible to mount them with hardware WITHOUT having to cut an access hole to attach nuts to the underside of the mounting bolts? Just curious what you all have done that works. Any suggestions?

P.S. Not really fond of the "clamp on" style seats...they tend to slide, tip and move around too much....

You will want to check with other people but I bet you could use lag bolts and go through the aluminum.

I used Swivel-Ez bases on mine mounted with 1/4" stainless steel sheet metal screws, oval head. I have not had any trouble with them coming loose. They are the 3/4" pin bases. I have used them with and without pedestals for years with no problems. I must admit, however, that I have been eying the G5 slider seat mounts advertised on this forum.
