After reading every page on steelflex im still unsure on what to use. Has anybody found anything local that has held up well? Paint or epoxy? almost forgot....14ft aluminum flat bottom jon, fully sanded and prepped

I am wondering the same thing. I just bought a 14' semi vee in need of a coat of paint.... :?:

I used steel flex on my entire first boat, I was very happy with the result, except that i used the wrong rollers, that stuff is super sticky, After using the grizzly grip, the roller pads they carry would be the only way to appy steelflex IMO. for the cost, steelflex can go on bare alum, paint can not. I had 250.00 in paint and primer just to paint the inside of my boat properly. steelflex would cost about 100 bux to do the entire outside. I even had enough left over, I used it on the trailer, I bought 2 gallons I believe, did boat and trailer.
