I bought a project boat this week, '93 Monarch Pro 1900v with an older (78?) 150 Merc OB. The fuel tank has about 10 gallons of 2 year old 50-1 mix in it. I need to pump it out and dispose of it. Any suggestions on the best way to pump it out? And after its out, what do I do with it? Will part houses that recycle fluids take it? I have a buddy who does landscaping and he originally said he'd take it for his equipment, but now he says its just too old. What to do?

I will get some pics later this week of this bucket on the resto board with plans and ideas. Looking forward to tracking this project and hopefully living up to the work I've seen you all do.

don't built in tanks have drain plugs?
siphoning should work if you jack up one trailer wheel and raise the tongue so all the fuel accumulates to one corner of the tank.
