Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently acquired a 12' sears semi-v and a 1957 Evinrude 5.5 fisherman. Boat is in ok shape, will do fine for this season, but will get some work over the off season. Also have a 1969 Mercury 7.5 that I traded for, that runs pretty decent, and pushes the boat faster than the evinrude. I live on a tidal river on the coast, and have been using the boat for fishing the river, harbor, and a little bit out into John's Bay when the weather is nice and the seas are calm.
