Can you grab a shot of it and post it so we can see? ALWAYS check the very bottom of your rig for soft spots by just pushing around edges of ribs. this will let ya know if there is oxidation problems. You YANKIES may not but salt or saltwater is a nasty when boats sit for some time. Ya'll use salt on your roads remember.
