I finnaly got my boat. The outside paint is in pretty good shape but im gonna add another layer because there are several spots that need it. But I am going to sand and prime the inside since it is already stripped. What type/brand do I need? I think I am going to steelflex the bottom.

I'm assuming your boat is aluminum. If you have any bare spots you will need to use an etching primer on the bare aluminum and then your paint of choice on top of that. You do not need primer over paint that is already stuck to the boat.

Here's a link to a thread on everything you ever wanted to know about Steel Flex

I decided to go with Parker Duck Boat paint. Bought it from Cabelas. I went with the Sand Tan color. I have some bare spots and will use self etching primer, otherwise I will just paint over the current paint, it's faded but not flaking. two to three coats should be good.
