Well I kept it quiet all day yesterday because I wanted the boat for myself. It was originally listed as 16', so I was in the market. It turns out it was a 14 footer, so I'm not.

The boat is in decent shape. Will need new seats and a front deck taken out (minimal work). It needs to be cleaned a bit but nothing terrible. It's on a Tennessee Traveler trailer with some surface rust. It will need a transom (which is actually easy because the transom caps are screwed in). The one on there is likely fine for a year or two if you're using the 5hp. The boat is solid.

I can vouch that the registration is in order as well. I had it in my hand and was copying the info to the bill of sale when I noticed the length was 14'.

The motor is a KF-5 Mercury Super 5. Not sure what year, but he offered to start it up for a couple of seconds just to prove that it ran.
Serial is 432279 (if you can get the year from that).

The guy was also willing to meet me at the GA/AL line which was nice too. Saved me an hour.

If you're looking for another project or your first one - this would be a good one.

I forgot I took some pics of the motor. It also shows the transom (the back block of wood would need to be replaced).
