I'm in the final stages of prepping the aluminum decks on a Tracker for Hydro-Turf application and the weather on the extended forecast is not cooperating with the manufacturer recommended "...surface should be a minimum of 65 degrees for 24 hours before and 72 hours after application....".

Anyone have any experience with using this adhesive in cooler temperatures??

I guess it goes without saying but I've got many man-hours and dollars invested in removing the old carpet glue and finding a deal on the Hydro-turf and I hope not to ever redo this part of the Tracker renovation.

You'll be better off to follows the manufacturers directions if you don't want a screwed up glue job.

I've worked with the Weldwood contact cement a lot and the warmer it is the better, I personally don't like to use it in temps below 75*F. It takes too long to dry for the initial bonding of the 2 surfaces... and can take over a week before it cures enough to be waterproof.
