I am just about to finish my riveting, and cleaning inside and out...

I plan on painting the entire inside, and the border around the outside...

I plan on GluvIt'ing the seams inside, and wanted to use self etching primer for the areas I plan on painting due to it being bare alum all around...

Should I spray those areas with self etching primer before I put the GluvIt, or GluvIt first, then the self etching primer...

Or does it even matter?

thx

You'll have to scuff the aluminum with about 80-120 grit to get the Gluvit to adhere properly. Then scuff the Gluvit with 320 to get paint to stick to it.
