i just bought a 1994 fisher 12ft. jon boat and i want to get some decks front and back...what is the best way to get years out of your bat and decks...im thinking about 3/8" plywood and aluminum channels for the runners and supports

And you are right on the money! Put a few coats of sealant on that plywood and it will last a long time. How wide is your boat?

im unsure of the width but i think it is a standard with...i will post pics tonight
