Hey there,
New here from SC. I have a 71 Starcraft 16ss that I've had for about 18yrs, and I just got a G3 1436 the other day.
I tore the Starcraft apart a few yrs back and built it up to suit my needs, mainly my river island jumping, deer and wild hog hunting boat. She's got a 1995 evinrude 90hp, that I got new in 95. I use my Starcraft alot, I love my old Starcraft.
I've been slack on getting into the inlet and around the jetties to do much fishing, so I had some spare cash, had a craving for a new creek boat, and found the G3. She's a 2011, never been in the water, new trailer. The guy that bought it had the whole inside Rhino lined. About the only thing I'm gonna do to her is put a flat floor in, and a little deck up front, some pole holders, fish finder, I have an old 15hp Evinrude that should fit right on her.
I actually also have a 1960 12ft aluminum boat, had this one forever. That one is gonna be the donor for the 15hp, then she's gonna get a good scrubbing, and hopefully find a new home. She's in good shape, sitting on a good trailer. I painted her about 5yrs ago, she's probably been in the water 2-3 times since then. I put in a cheap floor, which is now shot. I plan to re-do the floor and clean her up before I pass her along.
I'll put some pics up later.

Here's the old girl, not in bad shape, she's dirty and the floor is shot, but she'll clean up good. She'll make someone a nice little boat.

It said my pics were "too wide" to post, so here's links to the pics.

Although I can't see your pics because BIG BROTHER has them blocked for me at work.....I wanted to say, "Welcome to the TinBoat family. We're happy to have you on board. I'll take a look at the pics from home later tonight".

Spent a good chunk of today working on the new boat. I did all the framework for the little front deck, storage compartment, and the floor. Got all the wood cut and fitted. All that is left to do is seal the wood, put the carpet on, and put it together. I did all the framing with aluminum, all the decking wood is 5/8ths. As far as extra weight, I'll bet it is only about 25-30lbs, not much at all. I'm gonna put a couple of pieces of carpeted 2x6 on the sides for pole holders, fish finder, cup holders, etc. I got a 3 day weekend coming up this week, can't wait to get her done and dunk her in for her maiden voyage. I'll upload some pics and post them later when I get a chance.
