I got this bench seat and couldn't figure how to mount it. It's got a soft plastic base about 1/2" thick.
I used a double ended, wood thread on one end 3/8" stud. Had to grind off part of the wood end cause
it was too long. Seems to hold well. Holes in deck 1/8" oversize.
Needs to come out easily so five wingnuts and it's out. Three in front.
It might not be right but it's in.
