Can anyone give me ideas on good rod holders for my 14 foot v boat. How can I mount them on the side with the rolled top? thanks

i have a bunch of these on my 14' V

they are quite nice... actually made by scotty and just private labelled as cabela's. any of the other scotty system accessories will mount in them as well.

You may want to try the clamp style option. Most have plenty of clearance for a range of gunnels.

I have 4 of the bolt-on type of these on my boat (square gunwales) and they're indestructable.

A lot of the fishermen here use the Beeready rod holders. Especially the cat fishermen. They look a little strange but they work really well, especially for trolling and drifting. In the winter time they catch 40 to 80 pound cats and they claim they have never broken one. Simple but effective. They have a full range of mounting hardware. Most of them are switching to the adjustable models.
