I really want to remove the two small boxes in the center of the boat and replace them with rod lockers of some sort for storage. Do you think that this will cause any issues with the structure of the boat and what is the best way to build them? I really do not want to use wood as the boat is outside all of the time. Metal would be the perferred method but I do not weld. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
