does anybody know how to make one? i can picture it in my head but dont quite get how it works... diagram would be great...
 
Here's the tester that I made.The bracket mounts to the engine to give you ground.

This is the second one I made.First one was for a 2 cylinder but I have since acquired some 4 & 6 cylinder outboards.Alot of people don't realize that if you crank a motor without any place for the spark to go is the quickest way to fry the electronics. [-X

lmao!!! =D> i meant there is no wires on it.. i assume the plug boots connect to the stainless bolts?
