Which of these boats should I get? Having a hard time deciding between these 3. Keep in mind I will have a 15hp evinrude motor attached to whichever one I go with. I fish mostly rivers and small lakes, but there it one big lake I fish where the waves can get a little rough roughly 2-3 foot waves but I'm usually off the lake before they build up like that. Also I'm only looking for a 14ft, Im still a student and on a tight budget and my trailer only fits up to a 14. Just upgrading from my original boat that was given to me, but it starting to leak and is a little narrow (only 52-54 inch beam)

(for this one it would be the 3654 model the first one on the chart)

Hopefully I can gather some good info here thanks for the replies!

I would go with the Lund. A buddy of mine has a 14' SSV Lund and that boat has been rock solid. It is the heaviest boat in the bunch, but his 9.9 evinrude still pushes it 13 mph with two people. We have had that boat out on big water (Mille Lacs Lake - 132,000 acres) and never had a problem.

I have an Alumacraft and am happy with it. Go with what you are most happy with. I am sure that any of the 3 you are looking at will serve your purposes well. Happy boating.

Several years ago my wife and I rented a Lund 14 with a 25 HP Johnson on Lake Powell. We traveled from Bullfrog Marina to the dam and back which is a fer ways. We had all of our camping gear food and water in the boat. If I remember correctly the trip took 10 days. The time was during the summer and we didn't have much wind to make waves. The waves came from those large boats [many] and the Lund handled them fine. That boat really impressed me.
Regards, Keith

You are looking at some top notch boats. You will be happy with any of them.

However, can I make a suggestion? Buy used off Craigslist. New boats are expensive and you can save a TON of money by getting a used boat. On Craigslist, you have a very good chance at finding a good boat/motor/trailer combo for the same price you would pay for a brand new Lund hull. You could sell off the motor and trailer to cover your cost and have a free boat. It sounds crazy, but its not. I've done it numerous times as have lots of other guys on this board.

Aluminum boats last a long long time .... meaning its easy to find good used ones at great prices.

Also, if you have plans to go bigger down the road, you could consider just making do with the boat you have for a few more seasons. Save your pennies and get a nice 16' rig.

I agree with Mr. Simon, You might want the bigger boat if you can afford it....I say go with the Mirrorcraft.......I am a bit Biased. :p

I like my tracker topper 14 but I wish I had of gotten the 15. I like the design of the 2013 models over the previous years. It has more flotation in it and has oar holders built in.

I don't know if the original poster lives near that boat, but it sure is a good deal on a great little fishing rig.
