Does anyone build a pad style hull similar to a bass boat with a 20 deg or so deadrise at the transom? I know that the current bass trackers have this deadrise, but I was unsure of older hulls that would have them. I have this pipe dream of building an 18' mod v with a seriously warmed over 115-150 that will run in the 50's to 60's, but I need to find an efficient planing hull first.

May be off track here but I thought xpress had some type of pad hull.
