II was wondering if I could use a pump from one of those little plastic pools for my bait tank or would it drain my battery too fast? Its a 120v AC pump so could I even use it? Thanks.
 
Small boats typically operate off battery voltage...DC. So an AC motor would not work. And it's not worth playing around with an inverter. Just get an appropriate 12v pump.
