What's it worth?

Hey all,

Been on the lookout for a Jon boat recently and ran across one that I am seriously considering. Please give me some input on what you think a fair price would be.

Current owner stated that it is a 1976 eldocraft 1470. It has a 5 hp mariner outboard and a 36 lb Minnkota trolling motor. With trailer boat motors fuel tank battery he is asking 1400, Good price or not.

well here in texas I see them from 800$ just the boat no extras, and 900$ to 2800$ with all the extras, titles in hand and taged.
so with that said, 1400$ is ok but not a grate price see if thay can go lower .

Around here that would be a little over priced. An example is my brothers recent purchase of a decent 15' jon boat with a 30lb tiller TM, similar seats, a decent trailer, and a late 90's 18hp ele start Nissan that looks almost new and runs like it. He got it all for less than 1200.

Not too bad of a price - south florida boat prices are crazy you really have to look hard to find a great deal
