you could try this https://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=1055&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults

I use a transome saver for the main and tilt up the kicker till the mechanism touches the metal and locks. I will take pics in 10 mins after I come back from buying a coffee lol.

Transom saver on my big boats and a 2x2 block of wood wedged between the l/u and mount on the 1448.

The transom save proable will not work for me...the reason is the rear of the trailer is up under the boat to far to use that....there isn't a straight shot form the rear of the trailer to the motor if it's in its UP position.

Here is some pics of what I do. I just took these about 10 minutes ago.

The 2 Motors.

The Transom Saver for the big 225 Optimax.

The locking mechanism. I keep the kicker trimmed up with the lock in place so it doesn't bounce around.

Thats a nice transom saver. I like the bend. My older 2003 Lund 1700 Pro Sport with the 80hp 4 stroke Yamaha had a far in transom saver.

What motor your running? Can you get a pic?

I use a transom saver like most everyone else when I take my boat somewhere. I rarely do though. Most of the time the boat stays on our lake in the boathouse. I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me get another boat that I'll keep trailered to go to other lakes and ponds. I've got boat modding fever again!

Make sure you us some type of support. I didnt for a year and ended up with some cracks near the transom (last boat was glass). Then figured out that the motor was high enough to transport without tilting.
