Rope Knots...

Which knot would be the best to just tie a rope to the front handle in the front of a jon.. so i can pull it to the side of a dock after unloading it? and how bout one for an anchor?

I use a bowline for that purpose.

The bowline by far!!! Easy to tie and easy to untie, but holds well
