I have an xtreme xt172 currently being built and they sent me a few pictures of the progress. I'm getting pretty pumped up and ready to get her on the water.

I think I am. It's definitely an upgrade from my last boat and I'm putting a 70 zuke behind her. She, the gup-o, will be primarily fished in the upper bays, intracoastal and rivers. Barron at xtreme has been awesome to work with, too. He has gone out of his way to help me during the process.

I hear ya about not being able to wait. My Weld-Craft has been on order for 5 weeks now and just got word Wednesday that it was going to be another 2 weeks!!! =P~

Mine is nowhere near the caliber of boat yours is not to mention I'm not getting any update pics. :(

The updated pics are cool, Barron at xtreme is going out of his way to make the waiting part more enjoyable by sending them. Send some pics of your weld-craft when you get it, I would like to see her.

Thanks guys! They are currently carpeting the floor and will run the wires after. I think the next pic is when she is done.

I got some more pics in today. They are working on installing the center console which is going to be modified because it looked a bit long sitting in the hull. The cc was 24" long and the cockpit area is 74" long. They are cutting the top part of the console back and are leaving a seat/storage on the bottom. I am hoping to have the boat by the end of the week.

The pics are definitely a tease but seeing the progress, not just hearing about the progress, is pretty cool.

Here is a pic of when I picked her up, I need to take more of the layout inside. I had a 70 hp Suzuki installed and they seem to mate up nicely. I have a 19 pitch prop and I'm hitting 5400 to 5500 rpms at WOT and 38 mph fully loaded and with my wife and kid. It hops on a plane fast. The layout is really nice. There is a rod locker over 8 ft long on the starboard side, two storage compartments and livewell on the port side, two storage compartments on the bow deck, the deck is 6ft and 2 compartments on the aft deck which the deck is 5 ft long and 88 in wide. I can walk from the front of the boat to rear without stepping down into the cockpit which is nice. I couldn't be happier with the boat!

By the way, fish really enjoy the boat, too. Redfish, specks, black drum and flounder seem to be attracted to it. Here is my biggest flounder catch to date which was caught last weekend on a mirrodine 17 hmr of all things.
