Does anyone know the thickness of Nautolex? I am restoring an '88 Lund Tyee and plan on using nautolex on the deck. I am cutting and fitting all of the wood prior to ordering, and was wondering how much of a gap I should leave.

Thanks,
Brian

I have a roll in the garage. If I was guessing I'd say its a hair less than a 1/8th. I will put my calipers on it tomorrow.

You can check out my build in my sig. I used that on my tracker with very good results. The material itself is probably in the 3/32" range (.093). But take a look at how it stacks up when you start wrapping edges around each other to give you clean gaps. I had to shim in my aluminum decking areas to compensate for the difference between the old carpeting and the new nautolex.

Wrapping is in the post at the bottom of this page: https://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22554&start=90

Some images of the shimming I did is on this page: https://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22554&start=75

Good luck!
