Is there any real difference between a Lowe and Alumacraft? Looking at both online. seem similar. So far prefer the Alumacraft but having issues with availability/dealer price

yes alumacraft has a thicker hull and 2" higher sides

Well I knew about the thickness .50 vs. .53 but did not know about the freeboard. Thanks.......important for what I am doing.
