Hello all...

I have my tinny stripped down all around.

Got my gluvit applied this past summer. Needs a light sanding though.

I am thinking about applying the base coat of some self etching primer.

Should I delay this till warmer weather? If I put the self etching primer down now. Can I still apply a white base coat of primer in spring without having to re-sand or re-apply?

She looks so cold and lonely in there...thought I would give her some attention.

Thx

I am not sure about the self etch prime. I just put a coat of paint on my boat it 50 degree weather today. Looks ok now but time will tell. Main thing I wanted to let you know is that Gluvit will break down in sunlight so you need to paint it or cover it in some way before too long. I really wish I had a heated garage to work on my tin over the winter.
