The G3 1448PF was just delivered this morning. It is a brand new 2009 1448PF leftover with the matching factory trailer. The way I found this is I called G3 and ask it they have a list of leftovers from dealers. They found two 2009 leftovers. One in Arkansas and one in up state New York. I purchased the one from Arkansas. These are brand new boats with full factory warrantee. I could not pass it up. It is nice knowing that it has a lifetime warrantee for the original owner on outside hull welds and cracks.

I only have the Brand new 1983 Mercury 4.5 that has just been broken in last month for a pusher. I will be getting a 25 hp outboard for it next year. The important thing is we will be out on the water this year. For a 14 footer it seems like a hefty boat when you are up close looking at it. I noticed the boat has built in trim tabs in the stern. I noticed most higher end modified-V Jon boats has built in trim tabs now days.

The pictures show that there are no seat covers on.

Thanks Keystone,
Need to register it early this coming week. The first thing I am doing is clearing out the garage to get it in there. I have 13 inches to spare from the cross brace of the overhead door panels with the 4.5 mercury motor on. I should have enough room when a 25 hp outboard is mounted next year.

By the way, how is your new V167T? Did you get it out on the water yet?

Sure did. Awesome ride. Comes up on plane pretty quick. Boat is rated for a 60, but the 40 moves it plenty fast. Have 2 hours on it now. Hoping that this weather becomes stable soon so I can start chasing 'Eyes and Notherns again.

Glad to hear that you are putting time on it. I am glad to hear that the 40 hp outboard brings it up on plane fast.

About 900. Miles. Shipping was $880.00 and it was delivered in an enclosed trailer.

I sold $4300.00 of junk that's been lying around for these purchases. I can't see going in debt on a boat. Plus the boss (my wife) said I can buy a boat as long as I don't dig into the savings. She could not believe what I got by selling some of my junk.

It's actually kind of amazing. A couple of years ago I started to unload a lot of stuff on Craig's List and eBay. People will buy most anything - for money! It's always good to get rid of old crap so you can get new crap!

Yes it is something on how much stuff I have. I need to see what else I would want to unload.

lovedr79 » 11 May 2014, 19:27[/url]"]Congrats!

Thanks,

I just registered the boat and trailer late this afternoon.

It's ready to go! Friday will be the day. My daughter can't wait.

Yes I did, We will be taking it out again later today. We love the boat! Most stable boat I had. Speed, well, it's slow. It goes about 8- mph. I expected that from a 4.5 hp motor. Next year there will be a 25 hp motor on it. Suzuki is coming out with a new 25 soon. Also considering Evinrude, Mercury. I also heard rumors of Yamaha coming out with a new 25. Have plenty of time to figure out what I will buy.

The good thing is we are enjoying it as it is.

Just got true readings with the GPS. Top speed at full throttle is 7.7 MPH. :LOL22:

But, the 4.5 is a great trolling motor.

Exactly. I can't see pulling a loan out on a boat either or racking up credit cards.

I just purchased a Tohatsu 30 HP w/ PT&T and so far love it. Still in the break end period but so far it tubs smooth, really quiet and starts right up 1st try.

Yes,

I don't remember the boat dealers name.

Call this number: 315-408-7868. Ask for Darin

This one is a G3 Eagle 145 PF

Well, I sold the Mercury 4.5 for $700.00 and sold another Diesel engine that's been laying around collecting dust for $1,000.00.

In turn I just bought a 2005 Yamaha 25 hp short shaft 2-stroke that has never been put in the water. You might as well call it a brand new outboard.

I won't have time to get it running this week. Possibly in two weeks.
