Today is was on the water today relaxing on my 14 foot sea nymph. On I got to thinking wat if there was a way to have a 15-16 foot aluminum boat. with twin 25 evinrudes then put a center console with radio, fish finder, gps, and autopilot. Then run a dual battery system. And then have a decent sized casting deck and back casting deck. I already know with that much weight it would sick the whole thing in a second. If you could do what ever you wanted and defy physics and unlimited money what would u do.

Have a button on my TV remote that opens a worm hole to the exact spot where a trophy fish is itching to eat whatever's at the end of my line...

what's the point to such a question?

No reason why that would not work on the right 16 footer.

Probably true but there could be some valid reasons to do it. Redundancy or maybe a person already has (2) 25hp outboard setups and does not want to spend more $. You can turn tighter with a twin screw boat also, actually turn 360 deg without moving. Or maybe you just want it, **** the cost and practicality.

Although not financially practicle it soumds like a fun idea. Like a mini vicking

Your last sentence sums it up nicely.

I'm a huge supporter of do what you want. It's you time, your money, to heck with the opinions of the outside world. and the "cool factor" sometimes outweighs all else. But with all the talk of running small twins on the back of an aluminum skiff that pop up on here, somewhere you need to consider why? Performance, Safety, Access to motors, Looks Cool? I don't want anyone to do something as involved as installing twins and then be confounded by the lack of expected performance gains.
