I just bought a used boat seat off of CL and it didn't come with a swivel. I see that there are 7" swivels and 6" swivels. Does it matter what size I use?
 
7 and 6in must be the base size? I dont think it would matter. Although since you have options you might check the mounting holes line up with your existing seat.
