Best anchor line for use with anchormate?

We are installing an anchormate on our 14' jon boat. What anchor line is best for use with a 10# anchor? We use the boat almost exclusively on lakes.

Most of those I've seen equipped with what looks like 3/8" rope. Just make sure you get something strong enough, if you don't have to worry about currents, you won't need anything crazy.
