flat bottom Jon
no hull serial number
no makers marks

It MIGHT be a "Feathercraft". I own one very similar to that one only mine has just 2 bench seats (front & back) & raised "ribs" (about 10" apart running horizontally from bow to stern) that are specifically designed to attach a raised wooden floor to. I use the boat quiet a bit too (admittedly a little cramped though). Good Luck!

P.S. The first thing I'd do after you find out for sure who the mfg is, is put a plug hole in the back & drainage holes between the bench seats because bailing that sucker out is a major pain in the arse.

Thanks !
I just stopped by my Tag Office with their official Florida Vessel Bill of Sale to see what is
required to get a title on a boat that has never had one or registered in any state.
The lady says - all you need is mfg, serial number, hull material, length, and gas outboard for power.
On the Bill of Sale, it says "this vessel has never been registered or titled in any state".....
COOL !! I will just put down a name, probably Feather Craft or Crestliner, and make up a serial number
and stamp it into the hull and I've got a Florida Title !!
I thought it would be impossible to get a title only to find out it is quite simple (in Florida).
And there is no fraud or attempt to defraud. I know this family personally and this boat has always been
in their family since the 1960s. So I know for a fact it is not stolen and has never been titled.
The original purchaser has passed away and the son that inherited it has passed away and now the grandson
wants to sell it to buy books for college.

I have a bilge pump on long leads and hose to take care of any possible flooding. (I hate bailing too)

That looks a lot like my '68 Richline. Mine happens to be a semi-V, but there's a lot of close similarities.
Can you post some detail pics, like the transom brace, the rear corner caps, the bow "cap", and the way the seats fasten to the hull?

it is 11'-6" long, 36" bottom, 48" top, and 16" high sides.
Can not find any markings on it all. So I will keep combing the net
for a day or two looking at old vintage tins to see something similar.
Then, to the Tag Office for a TITLE !!!

Picked it up today . . . 40+ years of neglect is obvious.
Loose rivets, missing rivets, couple of holes worn in the keel rib
from probably sliding it in and out of the water vs carrying it.
It was a work boat in a marina for about 10 years then just sat
in a barn the past 10+ years.
Very, very solid aluminum !!! Very solid gunwales. Transom needs replacing.
You know, just the normal stuff to do to an abused and neglected tin.
Just needs some serious loving for a few days and it will be
fishing for Red Bass and Monster Sea Trout on Christmas day !!!
Will be running a 40lb saltwater Minn Kota Riptide in the lakes that forbid gas motors.
and a 9.9 outboard for the saltwater lagoon.

Just filled it half full of water then went to get some things done.
30 minutes later, the water was all out.
LOL so does that mean this boat, as is, could sink in 30 minutes ??
I think sooooo'
fabricate a drain plug in the back transom is high on the priority list.

Will make my wife happy happy happy to have her OWN boat to piddle around
the lakes with !!! Her first buy will be a comfy chair and Bimini canvas top.

There is nothing more grand than
to be just simply messing around
in an old boat . . . . POGO, 1960

Sorry......too many differences in the details. The seat construction and attaching is close, but my seats don't drop all the way to the hull floor. They have a center brace from the bottom of the seat to the centerline of the floor, and are held in with the keel rib rivets. My transom brace is also cast, but it's got an arch to it, where yours doesn't.
I could not say it was made by Richline.

There might be some info hidden under the camo paint job, but I don't think manufacturers were required to put any kind of identifiable info on their boats until after something like 1972. I think they keep track of the serial numbers (hull identification number, HIN) in order to fight theft, just like the VIN number on a car. Making one up might not be the best idea...
There should be a way to get a number assigned to an old boat, but I don't know what would be required to do that in Florida.

Here in Georgia you must fill out a form and let the dnr come out to inspect the boat then they will assign the boat a hull number not sure what you have to do in Florida.
