it is 11'-6" long, 36" bottom, 48" top, and 16" high sides.
Can not find any markings on it all. So I will keep combing the net
for a day or two looking at old vintage tins to see something similar.
Then, to the Tag Office for a TITLE !!!
Picked it up today . . . 40+ years of neglect is obvious.
Loose rivets, missing rivets, couple of holes worn in the keel rib
from probably sliding it in and out of the water vs carrying it.
It was a work boat in a marina for about 10 years then just sat
in a barn the past 10+ years.
Very, very solid aluminum !!! Very solid gunwales. Transom needs replacing.
You know, just the normal stuff to do to an abused and neglected tin.
Just needs some serious loving for a few days and it will be
fishing for Red Bass and Monster Sea Trout on Christmas day !!!
Will be running a 40lb saltwater Minn Kota Riptide in the lakes that forbid gas motors.
and a 9.9 outboard for the saltwater lagoon.
Just filled it half full of water then went to get some things done.
30 minutes later, the water was all out.
LOL so does that mean this boat, as is, could sink in 30 minutes ??
I think sooooo'
fabricate a drain plug in the back transom is high on the priority list.
Will make my wife happy happy happy to have her OWN boat to piddle around
the lakes with !!! Her first buy will be a comfy chair and Bimini canvas top.
There is nothing more grand than
to be just simply messing around
in an old boat . . . . POGO, 1960
