This isn't mine, but it popped up on CL. I like the rear seat arrangement. I think it would make tiller driving a bit more comfortable. I assume it is a custom weld job, as I've never seen it before. I'm always on the prowl for nice layouts, and thought I'd share.

I have a 2003 1652DB that is just like that. It's a Polar Craft duck boat from what I've been told. The "V" in the back puts you at a great position to run the tiller.

Similar somewhat to the Edge and Havoc boats' rear seat arrangement.

I personally don't like it. Good for a duck boat sucks for fishing. Both of those boats do, IMO. Fished out an Edge and felt like it was a tiny boat even though it was a 1553. The sides of the boat are angled INWARD just a little, or felt like it to me. That seating arrangement does make it easier to run the tiller but my biggest beef is that it's not "easy" to move the seat side to side. And takes up floor space. If you have two people on the rear seat, your knees are bumping each other.

Thats funny, that is the very first thing I thought of when I saw that back seat. I agree, that type of setup appears to favor duck hunting and a boat blind rather than someone doing a lot of fishing.
