I'm just curious as to what the largest jon boat any one has actually seen. I'm not talking sea going tins, but something that was used for personal recreation. The largest jon I Have witnessed was a 2270 with a 150HP.

This subject peaks my interest . . .

I have been searching for a much older (1960s) modified V Flat Bottom 1860 --> 1872 Tin.
Don't know if any exist, but I am looking.....................

I think that when you get into the super wide models, they may be custom made ???
LOL like those swamp boats used by the Alligator Wranglers on TV.

SeArk makes (or made?) an 1872. I have bow fished from one. Loved it. But it was a tank. War Eagle makes a 2072 and a 2372, and a 2284. and I have worked with the 2072 and 2372.

SeaArk build a 2472 rated for a 225, War Eagle builds a 2372, and SJX builds a 2884 with twin 200 Optimax inboard jets.

I had a SeaArk 2472, sold it last year. Had a 175 Suzuki 4 stroke. Boat was built like a tank and took rough water great. Got out of Tournament fishing and sold it to a friend. Heres a shot of my son snoozing on the front deck, he's 6'1.

I love it! Mine is a great place to nap if you have a little cushion.

Both my front and rear decks are over 6' wide. Wife and grandkids can lay out or play with plenty of room.
