Hi I'm new to the forums and just figuring this all out, hopefully this is the right place. I just purchased a 16ft x 52 in Sea King aluminum boat. I'm in the process of adding casting decks and would like some opinions of placement other than mine. This boat will be used in the salt flats and fresh water. Any advice, tips, tricks is appreciated. I would like to do this in the full project section but not sure how long is to long for the finished peice.

Yes I would love for the decking to be that high and I would feel confident on it. I was thinking lower for any guests on the boats sake. I had friend with the boat that was close to 300 or more and it was kind of shaky.. It's has a pretty deep v also and sits pretty high out of the water which I didn't expect when I bought it.

Here's how I did mine I made the lower part even with the groove running down the side and the front even with the front most seat, it's simple but I.good place to start
