First post here so be gentle...

I have seen a few builds here using Bluwood but unfortunately they do not carry it in my area. However the local HD started carrying a line called Eco Red Shield. In reading an evaluation report on the product it says aluminum fasteners are permitted so it seems that it does not have the same chemical treatment as pressure treated. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?
 
I haven't heard of this.

They claim similar corossiveness to untreated Douglas Fir & SYP.

10 year warranty.

Depending on cost certainly worth a look I think.
