My new (to me) Grumman

After searching for 2 + years..I finally found her.! 1987 17'Grumman with a 140 HP I/O OMC. Custom Amish-made enclosure, pretty much what I've been looking for to fish Lake Erie and smaller NY inland lakes. A couple soft spots on the floor and storage in the bow, which I'll get to repairing most likely in the winter. Comes with a kicker bracket , which I'd like to install with a 10-15 hp motor Am pLanning to ado a 80# bow mout Minn Kota w/Ipilot.Down Easter rod holders, and possibly electric downriggers down the line
Just a couple questions, and be gentle,cuz this is my 1st "real" boat .I have a 1968 14' Starcraft, which I love,but this is a slightly different animal.
What size trolling motor can I mount on her? Pic of the bracket attached. Just want to know if I need a short or long shaft.
OMC Motor seems to be in tip top shape, what are some common issues with these motors?
If anyone has the same boat,I'd love to see some pics and share ideas on what you've done with it.

Would also love to know the proper name of this model. Is 17' long and has CSX on the side. Can't find one like her anywhere
