OK, I'm stuck. The accessory low speed paddle wheel for my Lowrance Elite 7 HDI is mounted in such a way as it is not a smooth and horizontal transition between the hull and the paddle wheel.
After reading some old Teleflex literature on paddle wheel mounting it appears that I need a 15 degree or so wedge to allow the paddle wheel to get smooth, uninterrupted flow along the same plane as the bottom of the hull. According to Teleflex, it is "ok" to have a slight proud protrusion but not a negative angle like I have now.
The wedge needs to be 1 -3/8" deep + and 2" wide, 15 to 18 degree.
Any help??
