For those using noodles as flotation,When pool noodles are exposed to long periods of heat especially if they are not getting wet, will cause them to break down and crumble.that is the major factor to why they are so cheap.I stored some in the attic above my garage and when i picked them up my fingers went through them,my neighbor stored his in his pump house and the same thing happened.lucky for me a co- worker had access to a high grade closed cell foam sheets and gave me enough for my rebuild, closed cell foam is the much better choice. Not sure where or how much it is,but i would make that my first choice since I can't afford the two part poured flotation foam.
