Does any know of a manufacturer that makes a 1448 mod v Jon with a split rear seat? I know Alumacraft has a 1648 version but I have yet to see one in a 14 footer.

I fish mostly solo and have limited garage space which is the reason I really want a 1448.

Thx

I just looked and could not find one. I have a G3 1448PF and love it. If interested in one call up G3 at 800-588-9787. Mention that you are looking for a leftover model. I found the 2009 1448PF for $2995.00 with trailer included.

The other boat I considered was the Alumacraft Crappy Jon. It's bottom is only 42" wide.

So far this is all I could find. But they are sold out.

Call up Weldbilt and see if they can find or build one.

I just found this. Give them a call.

Thanks I'll check it out. I really do like that G3 1448. Nice setup you have there.

hwew,

I was wondering if there's enough space under the front seat pedestal for a trolling motor battery? Thinking that would be a great place to put it for weight distribution.

Oops. Just answered my own question. Should of zoomed in on the picture earlier. Just saw the battery tray under the front seat pedestal.

The picture shows a battery tray and wiring under the front seat and a trolling motor receptacle on the front deck. Looks like they have that covered.

G3 thought it through pretty well for a tiller steer boat. It is very roomy for a 13'10" boat. Since it is under 14" it did not need to be titled. And there is no annual taxes.

It's been a great boat. The complete setup fits in my garage with about 1 foot to spare.

I been looking for a 48" wide bottom boat without bench seats for a while before I found the G3.

What I did is called G3 and ask for dealers that have left over G3 1448PF boats. The service rep found two dealers that had 2009 leftovers.
