Help me identify this boat?

So I got this boat a few weeks ago and I have no idea what kind it is. The guy told me it was a 1979 Starcraft but I can't find a serial number which makes me wonder if it's earlier than 1972 and I can't read the data plate so I have no idea what the serial number is or what year it is or what model it is any help?

The only significant aluminum boat manufacturer that I could come up with that was manufactured in a place called Grand Prairie is Lone Star boats out of Texas.
 
It does look like the last four letters inside that banner says "star".

Look below the left rear grab handle.
You might find the serial number there.
I was only able to find mine in that location while I was painting it.
