Hello -
Looking to start some minor improvements to my 16 YO son's Alumacraft 1442. Can someone help me out w/ the following:

What's the best way to fasten the p'wood (assuming 1/2" is ok) to the bench seats? I've seen many different discussions on this.
I'm thinking of using the slider seat mounts on top of the carpeted plywood, what's the best way to mount those?
Would 1/2" be OK for the floor p'wood. It seams the supports are adequate. Best fastening method for the floor p'wood.
Foam or no foam under p'wood floor?

I've enjoyed the forum for awhile now and am finally gonna start moving forward. Thanks in advance for the help.

Wood to bench seats - SS screws

1/2" is fine for floor, I'd put foam underneath anyway, just to dampen sound.

Wood deck to boat bottom - SS screws into ribs

Good luck
