Friends,

My "new to me" TEXAS MAID OSPREY originally came with an ATTWOOD steering wheel, the center cap of which is missing.

Do any of you have a photo of a late 1950s or early 1960s center cap (I'm told by someone "who is supposed to know" that the caps from 1957-1963 are identical.) that you can post OR even possibly have a center cap for sale??

Tex, from doing a quick search on the ole interweb,
there were a couple of different styles Attwood used
during the '50s. Could you post a photo of the center of your helm?
also, the dimensions might help.

Johnny,

It's the round one that's 2.5 inches ID & slightly over 2.75 inches OD. = I believe that the caps on the 2nd & 3rd photos are the correct size/design & interchangeable.

My steering wheel is the same exact kind as the 3rd photo.

Jim; Johnny,

NOW, if I could just find an original seat frame to measure OR could find someone who has the same seat & is willing to send me a tracing of the seat-back, I'd be "in tall cotton".

yours, satx
